Tickets & Passes
Advance Tickets Are Available Through the MFA and Brattle for Those Shows
Individual Tickets
Tickets for individual film programs should be purchased at the venue (MFA or Brattle) where the film is showing, either online in advance (see Tickets links on Schedule page), or in person at the venue. Purchase tickets for programs at Fenway Health at the door.
Some shows will sell out, so it is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance.
General ticketing links for each venue are:
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: www.mfa.org/tickets
Brattle Theatre, Cambridge: www.brattlefilm.org
Passes
If you plan to see several films in the festival, you can receive a substantial discount by purchasing a Pass.
We have two types of passes available:
25 program pass: $175 general, $150 for MFA or Brattle members, seniors, or students 12 program pass: $96 general, $84 for MFA or Brattle members, seniors, or students
Purchase all passes through the Museum of Fine Arts box office, in person or online:
25 Program Pass (please note the site currently says "Full Pass" but it is good for 25 programs).
12 Program Pass (please note the site currently says "Half Pass" but it is good for 12 programs).
You do not have to select your films in advance, but you must arrive at least 15 minutes before show time to use your pass. You must have your pass punched and receive a ticket each time you use it. Passes are not transferable, and can be used to admit the pass-holder only.
Stand By Line
We set aside a certain number of seats for pass-holders at each show. If advance tickets for a show are sold out, we may still be able to release some of these held-back seats, if they are not claimed by pass-holders 15 minutes before show time. In this case we will have a Stand By Line at the venue door, beginning 30 minutes before show time. Tickets are not guaranteed. We will make a determination no sooner than 15 minutes before show time whether or not tickets can be released.
Non-film Events
See program descriptions on the Schedule page for information on purchasing tickets for non-film events as they are announced.
