Friday!

Friday is finally upon us! We have more great films tonight. At the MFA we have Women's Short Films at 6:30. Come and see some great shorts about dyke life! At 8:30 we are screening Lucia Puenzo's amazing new film El Nino Pez (the Fish Child) as part of our continuing Latin Cinema series. You might remember her last film XXY which we screened back in 2008.

Over at the Brattle we are showing Kevin Hamedani's super funny and over the top film Zombies of Mass Destruction in our Queer Horror program. We'll be running Greg Ivan Smith's new film Remission right before ZMD. This is the East Coast premiere of Greg's short film and he'll be with us for the screening and a Q and A. Greg's last film The Back Room screened in the 2009 festival and we are extremely happy to have him back in Boston!!

We'll have stuff to give away at the Brattle screening as well thanks to After Dark films and the Boston Underground Film Festival!
